This property was showing very good rates for some reason despite other GHA properties’ fluctuations. With some GHA properties in Singapore slowly being designated as SHN or SDF facilities, I decided to fill in one of my slots with this instead, despite it not being valid for a separate Local Experience accrual as its considered the same brand as Pan Pacific Hotel & Resorts. I’ve finally bit the bullet for this grand old dame!
I had missed out on their Suite Treat and Suite Life packages offered earlier this year as I have always not preferred the colonial style for staycays and honestly this property always seems a little out of reach in terms of price point. But since this year is a year of money-burning staycays, why not.
I’m also going to (try to) be as detailed as I can just because its Raffles. Heh.

Ah, Vagabond.
I was only trying to check this off my list in line with my try-all-marriotts-in-SG grand plan for 2021. I had to cancel a previously booked stay under a good rate of $153++ under the MR4 promotion because the property declined to help shift my dates so that didn’t help in my impression of them. But I figured I should try and see what Titanium gets me in a Tribute Portfolio property so here goes!

I admit I was curious about this hotel due to its anti-microbial anti-viral stuff which seems to make it a safe choice these days. Past reviews also seem to indicate that its a decent choice and at under $150nett a night and being a “new” hotel, I figured it cant really go too wrong.
