This seemed like a logical choice of accommodation after the 3-night money burning splurge at RC. I also explored many other local branded properties before settling on this one as the small selection of international chains in the city like Hyatt, Hilton, and Crown Plaza are terribly old which I didn’t prefer.

[Hotel Review] Mandarin Oriental Singapore (post renovation)

This property has been on my list ever since it re-opened following the extensive renovation in 2023 – I mean the property looks drop-dead gorgeous and such an improvement from its former life which I tried in 2021. The experience wasn’t bad but there wasn’t any denying that the hardware needed a refresh.

And of course, Hau65. Who says no to free flow Ruinart bubbles all day?
