Continue reading “[Hotel Review] Pullman Singapore Hill Street”This was an impromptu staycay due to my expiring D$ and I figured why not since the refurbished rooms looks really great on sites I’ve visited. So off I went to have another whirlwind stay! I last visited the property in 2022 and it has since been refurbished extensively including some of the F&B so I was keen to float by these spots too to see what the exciting renovations are about.

This stay is so postponed that I am kind of glad that I am finally checking this off.
The story is that during COVID era, I found a great rate which was eligible for their Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) which was honored and all ready to go. I was looking forward to this stay because I was able to secure a Stay Plus slot with a small top up, plus I would still have my Accor Platinum status at the point of my stay which would hopefully elevate the experience. Excited to see what the former Park Hotel Orchard has become under the Accor group.

The only part I was not looking forward to was the uncertainty about getting enough rest on this redeye as I didn’t feel rested on my first experience. Really not sure if it’s the cabin specific thingy (its weird, I know) but let’s see.

And after hearing all that datapoint about how this lounge can be a madhouse especially later into the evening, I actually made my way almost 6 hours ahead, at 6:30pm, to attempt a much more peaceful experience and take my time instead of rushing through the stay due to the crowd.
