[Hotel Review] Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers

Grabbed from official site

Etihad ‘E’dventure 2026

This was my choice for my whirlwind 2nights in Abu Dhabi due to 1) lingering regrets over not making it here in its Jumeriah past life from my COVID-cancelled trip 2) Hilton resort credits I had to spend for Q2 2025 which I pre-booked.

[Trip Planning] Etihad ‘E’dventure 2026

Grabbed from official site

This trip was planned 7 months ago due to my lingering regrets over my stillborn Etihad Apartments trip which was supposed to happen in 2020 until COVID killed it (I never got over it!). Then came along my re-planned Auckland trip which was also cancelled last year – I was redeeming my SQ Advantage ticket and randomly picked Bangkok as an additional trip since it cost the same amount of miles anyway.

I was scheduled to arrive in Abu Dhabi on 27 Feb 2026, spend 2 days in the city, then depart on 02 March 2026 early morning flight. And I guess we all know how the trip turned out.

I am super thankful to Etihad for putting me on a repatriation flight after an extra 2 nights during these crazy times and felt like I needed to document my experience, even the ones I managed to experience as a contrast to how fast things spiralled into madness.

[Hotel Review] Conrad Singapore Orchard

Is it risky to stay 4 days after a property’s opening AND on one of the “peakest” day of the year? Yes. Also probably not the smartest move. But hey, new hotel fetish remember? Newly renovated / transformed ones also count!

I last experienced this property as its former life, Regent Singapore, back in 2022 and was excited to see its transformation and especially if its into a Conrad.

[Hotel Review] SUITE DREAMS – Conrad New York Downtown

Grabbed from official site

My last night in NYC was supposed to be spent in TWA as I thought it would be quite a cool experience but then I saw a pretty decent deal on Hotelux which included a USD100 hotel credit, double points, free breakfast, plus possible late check out due to my Diamond status. I was going to have to pay about the same at TWA as the property required cash top up for a late check out which I needed, so I figured why not stay here and earn some points while at it.

[Hotel Review] Conrad Centennial Singapore – Centennial King Suite

Grabbed from official site

My last experience here was during my Hilton Honors mattress run, pre-covid. How times have changed, including prices! With low-ish prices, I figured its time to experience a full stay while I still have Diamond status. After suffering from multiple postponements, its finally time to be here and experience how things have changed in the post-COVID era!

[Hotel Review] Conrad Bangkok

When I realized my Amex KFA voucher was expiring in Dec 2019, I hatched a plan to use it without having to take leave. And the general consensus for the property to get the most value out of it is Conrad Bangkok.

But rooms look terribly dated then and I never ventured near since.

And so I thought it was timely that they have recently completed their extensive refurbishment so the stars were aligned.

[Hotel Review] Conrad Seoul

Spontaneous Seoul 2019

******************************************************************************

The only Conrad I’ve ever stayed in was in Singapore.

So Conrads have been on my wishlists ever since I got my Diamond. Yays to lounge access and room upgrades! And this fell nicely into my atas trip itenary so I was super psyched to try this at seemingly 50% off during the 100hr flash sale.
