[Lounge Review] Marhaba Lounge, Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3

As fate would have it, this became my respite after escaping from the zoo that is SilverKris Lounge.

Having only opened on 23 May 2019, the place is a god-send compared to what I saw 5mins earlier.

Opening Hours – 24-hour

Location – Airside – after Passport Control, the lounge is located opposite the Singpapore Food Street on the 3rd floor in the Departure Hall.

Located near the 2-storey LV store, this newly opened 24-hour 130pax capacity lounge on level 3 of Terminal 3 replaces the former dnata lounge.

The entire space is decked out in yellow and black carpeting and feels completely spacious due to the high ceilings. There is also not much crowd on a Friday departure night – maybe because it’s a relatively new lounge and still unknown to some.

There are different sections with various seating style so feel free to pick according to your mood. Funnily enough, the ‘quiet zone’ – which is the area with lounge chairs facing a TV to the left of the entrance as you walk in – faces a children’s playground one floor down – it was NOT quiet at all when I visited on a Friday late night.

I was also fairly impressed with the selection of food and drinks, amplified by my SilverKris experience. I saw satays, salads, cheeses, bread, hot selection, and the usual wines, liquors and beers. Coffee and tea were available as always too.

The toilet and shower room also fared quite well!

I would pick this as my default lounge in a heartbeat for sure.

Some peace and quiet before a flight is always a good start to what could potentially become a stressful flying experience if not in a premium cabin.
