Cathay Crusade 2025

This was an easy choice as it recently re-opened from its former life as a Wanda property. It is indeed rare that I actively pick a property with no club lounge but being new (though online reviews seemed to show that minimal reno has been done?), I can’t pass up the chance to try this property for 2nights.

With great deals comes great (financial) responsibilities. Spinelessly spurred on by the opportunity of stacking good promotions with elite benefits, here I am back again after my last stay 8 months ago. I also managed to pick a super peak period for the property as my dates coincided with the Bloomberg Forum held at Capella and the hotel was pretty full with the delegates, on top of the staycay madness. What better time to stress test St Regis Singapore.

[Hotel Review] The St. Regis Singapore – St Regis Suite

This was an impulsive booking as I (and my weighing scale) had just recovered from my Shang Valley Wing indulgence the week before. But I had to when I saw the rate. Furthermore, I last stayed at this property in 2010 (!) and was curious to see how things have evolved, for good or worse.
