Another RC to check off my list yay!
So while planning for the 2025 family trip, I thought exploring a new city will be fun. And of course, the RC there called out my name before I knew it heh.

This Ritz Carlton has been on my list for a while and I was super happy that my 85k redemption works for this property (base room cost 65k and the next tier was over 100k so there was no middle tier). Excited to experience an immediate comparison after 2 nights in Westin too.

So I finally got my One World Sapphire (OWS) status after completing the Trip.com x Japan Airlines Sapphire Fast Track. While I am happy to finally see my status reflected, there were issues with Japan Airlines telling me that my Sapphire status is only valid until 31 March 2025 versus the campaign’s official T&C of 31 Dec 2025 – a 9 months difference! Eventually it got sorted out (and hopefully stays that way!), I figured why not start planning to try out my newly minted status.

This trip happened due to my friend’s mileage run which was the perfect excuse to have another holiday. Yay.
Knowing our sole intention is to chill and not really wanting to mess with the infamous Jakarta traffic, we then decided that this spot is the best option we have to allow us to simply chillax. After all, it’s not everyday you come across a Ritz where all guests get club access – time for us to find out if this is a good thing!

Ah, the hotel splurge of my trip.
It was only a few months back that the opening of this property popped up on my reading list and I was hooked. Ritz Carlton? New? Club Lounge? With Titanium status? YES PLEASE.
But prices? NO PLEASE.
Nonetheless, massive stalking of anything related to this fancy property commenced.
Continue reading “[Hotel Review] SUITE DREAMS – The Ritz Carlton New York, Nomad”After my completely devastating forced cancellation of my Etihad Apartment due to COVID (thankssss again), I had shelved any thoughts of flying First (on any airlines) as the roller coaster of disappointment was not something I want to go through again. Yeesh.
