All good things must come to an end. Sigh.
I couldn’t wait to board this flight after the rather mediorce experience at the lounge. Especially when they will be serving caviar yay!
- Flight Timing – QR942 depart DOH 1755 arrive SIN 0900
- Duration – 8hr 05mins
- Aircraft – Boeing 777-300ER
- Seat – 3K
- Cost – SGD3.5k (entire itenary)
Boarding was right on time
SEAT
I picked 3K once again for this last sector and the seat was all too familiar to me by now and I was quite happy to return home in this true window seat. Won’t go through the same seat functions again but here are some perfunctory pics.
I had my 4th pillow to add to my collection, as well as the usual amenity kit, pajamas, and Diptyque towel.
After take-off, my glass of champagne was served with warm nuts and I was once again ready to eat! Randomly excited when the crew came down to aisle to take my order becasuse I knew caviar was on the menu – first time having caviar in business class for me yay!
IN-FLIGHT FOOD & BEVERAGE
This flight offers all-day dining as well as breakfast but as always passengers can choose to dine at any time they wish. To maximise my eating spree, I chose to dine after take-off since I didn’t eat anything at the lounge.
Menu as follow:
Alcohol list is the same as my way here….
Non-alcohol list also the same…
The table was set and my caviar came complete with a mother of pearl spoon (sorry for blurred pics) – it was delicious even though I cannot decide if I like it because its expensive or because its nice.
I then had the seared beef tenderloin (tasty!) and cheese platter (my kind of dessert).
I then asked for turndown and this was the first in my 4 flights that the bed was still in its upright position – halfway service? Anyhow I fixed it myself and slept for almost 3hrs waking up to a rather nice view over the clouds.
Time for breakfast!
I picked the sweet potato and kale omelette which was fantastic (tasted like it was freshly made?) and asked if the dashi-poached prawn and torched salmon from the all-day dining menu was still available as none of the breakfast starters appealed to me. And they did – even though I realized now that the torched salmon came un-torched but all good still.
The In-flight Entertainment and lavatories were largely the same as my last 3 flights so I won’t repeat them here.
Service – this flight had the best crew ever! There was a trainee crew who was on her ‘exams’ serving my aisle and she was phenomenal trying her best to make sure everyone was comfortable. All smiles throughout even though I can tell she was extremely busy. Kudos to her enthusiasm – I wrote her a compliment thereafter via the flight feedback form and hopefully she passed with flying colors!
In Summary,
Coming home in style, ending my Qsuites Quest 2025 with a bang! $3.5k well spent! Qatar Airways Qsuites really matched up to its hype in my opinion and I would love to fly with them again 🙂
