My first trip back to this city after COVID!
It was an atas sibling trip this time and of course I had to clock in more Bonvoy elite nights. I have to say that the Bonvoy options in this bustling city can be overwhelming and I decided on this property due to the fact that its recently renovated, offers decent proximity to the BTS Stations, the great reviews I saw while researching, plus a later evening cocktail timing (until 9pm) which I needed as my flight will only be landing in BKK at 1700. Onwards to a great stay!

My first 2024 hotel review!
This was a multiple-KPI trip: clocking enough miles to renew my KrisFlyer Elite Gold, visit a country which I’ve always wanted to, and start the hamster-wheel on my Bonvoy Titanium renewal. Paying $1,600+ for an Economy Flexi return ticket for a 7-hour flight aside, I was excited and game on to make the best of my 3-night trip.

Is it risky to stay 4 days after a property’s opening AND on one of the “peakest” day of the year? Yes. Also probably not the smartest move. But hey, new hotel fetish remember? Newly renovated / transformed ones also count!
I last experienced this property as its former life, Regent Singapore, back in 2022 and was excited to see its transformation and especially if its into a Conrad.

My first EDITION!
This property was on my radar of new hotel openings to try one day but I didn’t expect it to come so soon. The trigger was someone sharing a note about how redemption slots for the property is live on Bonvoy’s system and incredibly showing rates of 40,000 and upwards. For an EDITION, that’s kind of a no-brainer especially when I have a 35k FNA to use. Game to try this property in preview mode!
