[Hotel Review] Pan Pacific Perth
After deliberating over my choice for a quick overnight rest after my flight lands just past midnight, I decided that this property will offer the most comfort and value since I had expiring D$ to use and with that in consideration, this property was the same price as an Ibis near the airport. The icing on the cake was the fact that the property had recently completed a refurbishment of all their rooms so yays to new room!

After plotting out my Bonvoy Titanium renewal, I decided to focus on Accor in an attempt to see if I can regain my long lost Platinum status. And in line with my obsession with new-ish hotels, I was super happy to find an Accor property that was offering rather reasonable rates even for an Executive Room so that sealed the deal yay.

Ah, a hotel in the clouds.
Ho Chi Minh was one of those cancelled-because-of-COVID plans and I have always remembered I need to check this city off my list. With soaring airfares all around, a $250ish return ticket on Singapore Airlines caught my eye and off I went for 4nights. This property also came highly recommended from a trusted friend and it was just in time to clock double elite nights so win win!

For some reason, I booked a SQ flight to Hanoi during a promotion @ only $268nett per pax but I picked SilkAir to come back due to better flight timings. It was my first trip to Vietnam and I was excited about it. Thankfully, I found Mercure and it was time again to clock more points into my Accor Silver.
