OneWorld Sapphire Fun-venture

Based on my research, this seems to be the only lounge that is available at Terminal 3 for international departures so 3hrs prior to check in here we go!

  • Location: Terminal 3, Level 1 departures.
  • Operating Hours:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday: 9.10am – 12.10pm and 3.30pm – 7.35pm.
    • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: 9.10am – 12.10pm, 3.30pm – 6.30pm and 8.55pm – 11.55pm.
  • Access: Eligible ticket holders, Priority Pass, and Pay-per-use customers.

Check in was a mess due to some errors and funky attitude of the Manager so we were glad to be finally on our way to relax in the lounge. The facade of the lounge cannot be missed in the smallish terminal!

Seating

After going down a staircase, we were greeted by a busy sight of passengers peppered across the seating areas so no peaceful shots here for sure. There is also a separate semi alfresco area which was a nice spot and seems to be quieter than the rest of the insides.

Food & Beverage

The F&B here is better than I thought for an airport lounge – with barista coffee/bar available, healthy kombucha drinks, somewhat healthy appetizers, and then regular breakfast nosh.

There is printed menu for easy reference as well.

There is also a live station offering hot plates – tried one and it was delicious!

For the alcoholics, there are the usual wines, beers, and spirits. And no champagne though a sparkling wine option is available.

Facilities

The toilets were kept clean throughout our stay which was appreciated.

There is a ‘Refresh’ area stocked with L.U.E skincare products (an Aussie brand?) eg cleansing water, hydration gel, and cream for fixing yourself up before flights if need be. This was something I don’t see everyday and thought it was a really thoughtful addition.

Service – low touchpoint interaction here but I did notice that soiled plates were cleared quite efficiently which was especially appreciated at the alfresco area with its small tables.

In Summary,

Still a nice spot (well the only spot) to wait out the flight without spending any money!
