I made my way back to BCN 3 hours prior to my flight as it was my first intra-Europe flight and wasn’t sure if more or less time is required. I already had my boarding pass from Changi Airport and only a carry-on (checked bags going straight to Lisbon) so breezed through with the help of Fast Track security clearance for premium cabins.

Location – Terminal 1 Inside Security. After the Security Checkpoint, proceed down the escalators to the Sky Center and turn right, follow the signs and take the lift by the red floor up to the entrance.

Operating Hours – 0430 to last flight daily.

Access – I had access due to my TAP Executive Class ticket but understand that the lounge sells paid access as well.

Excited to check out a new airport lounge but but but alas soon after I arrived, the chap at the entrance told me no pics of people allowed which is near impossible as the lounge was crowded so erm the pics are taken either in stealth or before they told me.

Seating – a little cafe-ish like with lots of seating options and quite spread out so it didn’t feel super crowded. There was even a ‘work’ area which looked like it can belong to a co-work space.

Food & Beverage – the food selection was actually rather interesting with cold cuts and cheeses of course, together with small plates of cold apps. I wasn’t hungry at all so didn’t eat any but they looked pretty sufficient for a meal if need be.

Drinks saw simple wine selection alongside the usual coffee / tea etc.

Service – the only things I noticed was soiled plates being cleared quite quickly

In Summary,

Felt abit mess-hall ish due to the crowd but still a good (and free) spot to grab bites / wait out a flight.
