Cathay Crusade 2025
- Cathay Pacific Lounge, Singapore Changi Airport
- The Bridge Lounge, Hong Kong International Airport
- St Regis Shanghai On The Bund
- Cathay Pacific Lounge, Shanghai Pudong Airport
The Silveri, McGallery
This was my first time accessing this spot after staring wistfully at it whenever I pass through T4 airside!
- Location: Airside, Terminal 4, Departure Transit Hall, Mezzanine level, After Security.
- Operating Hours: 3 hours before first CX flight departure, until last departure.
- Access: Oneworld Business Class, First Class + OneWorld Sapphire and Emerald flying in Economy.
Thank you OWS for this exciting start to my journey heh.
The entrance to the lounge was classy wooden CX style with the same wooden panelling of corridors leading to the inside where I was surprised at the vast amount of space available even after looking through various reviews. The design of the seats overlooking of the terminal really helped to make this space feel like a peaceful sanctuary than an airport lounge zoo.
Seating
There are various seatings configured for whichever purpose serves you better – there is the Chinese style booth seats, high chairs facing the noodle bar…
This spot then leads out to a communal table sort of area for groups, followed by lounge/sofa seats right at the end of the space.
There is then a smattering of seats overlooking the terminal where introverts can use as a hideout.
Food & Beverage
Cathay Pacific Lounges are well known for their Noodle Bar which serves up hot carby strands in various broths alongside dim sum options – and there is no exception here. Piping hot sui mai in an airport lounge is not an everyday affair so of course I must have some!
Near the communal area is the non-Chinese fare where cheesese, salads, and a handful of hot dishes sit – during my late evening hours I saw green beans, macaroni, rice etc.
There is also a small selection of snack stuff in one corner for nibbles.
Drinks wise, there is a decent selection of spirits and red/white wines, alongside canned beers. Bubbles here is a regular Moet, strangely stashed up in the fridge with sparkling water.
Non alcoholics can choose from juices, canned soft drinks, and coffee/tea stuff.
Facilities
The washrooms here were spotless during my visit, with Bamford toiletries smelling rather nice.
Service
The chap at the Noodle Bar was a little grumpy but otherwise, nothing to complain about and soiled plates were cleared quite fast.
In Summary,
The best way to start a trip from T4 and onwards to trying more CX lounges!
