Decided on a last minute staycation and despite feeling like the crowd will be madness in Orchard on a weekend, I decided to go ahead anyway. Anything for a chillax weekend where I can act like a potato for 2 whole days. Even if its a property I’ve already been to. But different room this time. Hehe.

Price – 3,500 Golden Circle points for a Club room seemed to be a good deal if you throw in all the perks of the Lounge access (free breakfast, caffine shots all day, free dinner, free flow alcohol for 2days!!). Room reservations was also kind enough to grant me an upgrade to Club Deluxe despite the fact that it was a ‘free’ stay.

Check In – done at front desk effortlessly and was given a slip of paper showing club lounge benefits. Boo to not being checked in at the lounge 🙁

Room – Club Deluxe was spacious at 32SqM and very clean and well equipped. It was missing the day bed so heavily featured on the official pictures though – a shame. Bathroom was quite big and decked out in luxurious earthy tones. But space and cleanliness were definitely non-issues. Bigger than usual bathroom was a nice thing to have too!

Club Lounge –  My evening cocktail experience this time was much better than my previous stay. More food and beverage (including alcohol) variety made it a lot easier to treat this as a light dinner and just sit and admire the view from the 19th floor for 2 whole hours. Service was friendly and mostly efficient as well. Most of the club lounge guests huddled in one section watching the live broadcast of Prince Harry while nursing food and drinks. Very relaxed!

Still an unbeatable location for the price and would recommend for tourists and staycationers alike!
