Okay, I admit this one was really a little crazy. Hah.
So Trip.com launched this enticing promotion in partnership with Japan Airlines which dished out Japan Mileage Bank (JMB) Sapphire status with just one return business class trip on selected routes, selected flights, valid for travels up to July 2024. I struggled a little with picking a property for this pitstop but landed on this due to its proximity to the airport for the 16 hour stopover. I was trying to clock some Accor status points and although they had another property further into the city, I figured it wouldn’t be a smart choice for this time.

So after much deliberation, I picked this as part of my way home due to price mostly. But on hindsight I should have just picked EVA as I would have been able to make use of a promo code and pay just SGD$50 more to earn Star Alliance miles. Oh wells.
