This was the last segment of my whirlwind (okay fine, 3 days) Bangkok J trip. This is going to be a post with very little pics coz I was really feeling tired. Also didn’t want to repeat photos of the same cabin again.

To be honest, I was feeling abit tired so was pretty glad to be on J this trip. The thought of crawling to work the next day after landing at 2330 was a nagging thought as I set off on my way home.

(I realized the boarding time for J passengers is usually the time Y pax begins to board. Interesting).

We were one of the last ones to arrive at the cabin – quite a busy cabin but expected due to the long weekends.

Champagne and last 15mins of MIB International to start my journey home.

However, we ended up sitting on the tarmac for an hour (!) because of some traffic control issues, plus a change of runway due to a nearby thunderstorm. I admit it did feel a little scary during the turbulence. The pilot also did give us sporadic updates over the PA system so we were kept updated.

We eventually took off at 9pm, one hour later than scheduled.

The crew was quick to serve us dinner once we did.

There was no Book The Cook available coming back from Bangkok so I picked the Pan Seared Seafood with Creamy Lobster Sauce from the in-flight menu – turned out to be an excellent choice! There were prawns and fish and were quite fresh, and silvers of carrot and zucchini added some colors to the plate. I did not take the pasta because no carbs. Also didn’t try the lobster sauce as I was still within the abstain period after teeth whitening.

The appetiser was very good though – not sure what is it

Great flight in summary.

I wasn’t complaining about the delay because my 2-hour flight eventually turned into 3-hour, haha! I just continued to stock up on bubbles and finished The Hustle in one sitting.

Looking forward to spending 20hrs in J next month 🙂
