Another of my Sentosa escapade to experience another Far East Hospitality property, thanks to a friend’s generous donation of his Amex Platinum voucher. Excited to find out what does a hotel which caters to only 16yo and above offer heh.
“Enter a world of eclectic extravagance” says the website.
Big words, but I expected nothing less from the Garcha Group who also owns The Vagabond Club, Duxton Reserve, and Maxwell Reserve all of which I have experienced. I am admittedly not the biggest fan of their design of the properties but I never miss an opportunity to staycay at a new property heh.
You have no idea how much I was looking forward to this flight after a crappy Sheraton. Yay to Suites again! And I was also very much looking forward to trying out 2F even though it’s a smaller Suite – different experience after all.
[I actually didn’t end up taking alot of pics for this flight – probably because I was tired]
Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Centre
Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
SQ25 FRA-SIN Suites
You know that feeling when you are just about to explode with excitement but had to keep it down? Its the same thing as I skipped to my gate that fateful day in November 2022. So please excuse me if this review is just a little too much.

This marks the beginning of my bucket-list trip!
I think I spent way too much time thinking about how early in advance should I head to The Private Room (TPR) – after all, this could be the first and last of my First Class trip on SQ. I wanted enough time to enjoy the facilities but yet not too much to feel bored. Okay I know that some people try to spend 24hrs in TPR to fully maximize their access but that sounds a little too much for me. In the end I settled for 6 hours ahead of my flight, so reaching at 6:00pm for a 2355 flight – dinner, rot, sleep, eat?
[Sorry but am having technical issues with my photos as well so please bear with me]
After my completely devastating forced cancellation of my Etihad Apartment due to COVID (thankssss again), I had shelved any thoughts of flying First (on any airlines) as the roller coaster of disappointment was not something I want to go through again. Yeesh.
FZ1209 Dubai – Tel Aviv 09:50 – 11:40 (flight time 3hr 50min) / FZ1550 Tel Aviv – Dubai 09:55 – 15:00 (flight time 3hr 05mins)

I was actually quite excited about trying out flydubai as it’s bling bling Emirates’ budget version and I figured even if budget, it wouldn’t be that bad, no?
And so I decided to combine my flight reviews from this trip as they turned out to be rather samey samey and uneventful ie not substantial enough to be 2x separate posts. So while it may not be 100% sequentially coherent, it’ll save quite abit of empty spaces 🙂
Also, please excuse any discernible fatigue in the writing as I am restarting my mental engine after a long break and I hope I remember enough details to be adequate!
After my awesome stay just 1month ago and the impending expiry of my Accor Suite Night Awards, I figured this is the best property to burn off 2 out of 3 Awards – and I did say I’d be back to the Stamford Crest Suite right? Heh.
This review will also focus on the room more than anything else as most remains unchanged since my past stay only 1 month+ ago.
